Does the router have a usb port? If it does a little bit of jiggery pokery with the router settings could enable printing over the usb connection to the printer.

blah blah blah!
so got the Lindy thingy device thingy. done all the setting up etc but blast something doesn't seem to be working. got the driver installed on the laptop and connected that direct to the printer and hey presto no problems. then used the Lindy software which appears to give the printer driver a new port name. this all appears to have worked although the icon for the printer is different to the original driver icon (not sure if that makes any difference or not). any how the printer shows as being ready etc and offline when I switch the printer off so the connection all appears to be working fine however I can't seem to print a test page....it just goes to the queue and then after about 30sec / 1 minute it goes into error.? any help would be very much appreciated. |
