Having a go at putting fir trees back in!?

I think the halfords fir trees are too short. Any idea where to get some slightly longer ones......now?

Sorry for the late reply. They are a right PITA!
I found the best way was a piece of 20mm wooden dowel. Place it over the head of the firtree and tap the other end with a hammer.
