Took out the Ali Sport intercooler last night to see why there was oil all over the top right hand corner.
After cleaning it can't see any issue. No oil in the intercooler either.
Have re-fitted and will see if oil builds up there again. Putting it back together in the dark was interesting. 110XS CSW TD5.

No in many ways it is great but its now becoming more and more of a logistical nightmare between me, the dealership, the insurance company, the valeting company and the body shop.

Insurance want it done as soon as possible and cheap as possible, body shop want panels replaced before touching it, insurance won't pay for panels, dealership is corralling them all along and doing (I must say a fantastic job) organising it and I just want my 110 put back how it was when I gave it to them but now suddenly might need to find new doors, wings, b posts, and possibly a tub.

Timing is awful what with my girlfriend not being paid last month and looking for work money is tight enough as it is. My parents are moving house and I have become the go-to person for everything which is fine but they are on the other side of Kent to where I am. We are a man down at work and I am working all the hours I can and now I'm in the middle of what started as a Mot and Service and is quickly becoming a full rebuild with a budget of £0!!

So I'm a little stressed, but compared to what other people have got going on in their lives I'm trying not to make too much of a fuss really.

Shaggy, I hear your pain there. Insurance companies will wriggle at anything to get out of, or reducing the amount they are paying out.

I was in an accident a few years back where I was rear ended by two different cars (the second missed the first but not me) on the motorway. The insurance companies dragged it out for 18 months before deciding it was a 50/50 fault on their clients behalf.

The silver lining to the story for me, was the car was actually for sale at the time as I'd just ordered my new puma 90, so saved me the hassle of selling it in the end. Laughing

Get a FOC courtesy out the dealer, their fault they owe you... Or have you got one already? Make sure it's for tye duration of the work.
They caused it, their problem. Although no doubt they'll do anything to try and avoid giving anyone one like they did with me. Evil or Very Mad

Had a full service and all oils changed today - all ready for the next pan-european trip next month !
Need a new number plate light so looking for an LED one ...

Well, just not today but for the last 3-4 weeks, rethatched the yard side of the farm house, as you can see the end in the 2nd pic Thumbs Up The 1st pic you may well ask what am i doing in a field Shocked as in the 2nd pic we are starting to rethatch the field side only on the barn. Thumbs Up
In the 3rd, 4th and 5th pics, this the view i sit down to have my food breaks every day Mr. Green and thought i would share it with all the members, i hope you like them Very Happy

1) I could definitely recommend the Wipac SMD LED version, mine has been reliable and fit and forget.

2) Have you checked the bonnet switch? The rear door switch can play up sometimes too. But you've cheeked that already.

Under bonnet switch was the first one I checked ... but I think its a door one as the inside light comes on at times when ‘m driving in the wet some times ....

As they are earth switched then it's probably grounding, made worse by wet / damp conditions.
The door switches are fickle little things, not very well protected for moisture at all either.

Might pay if they do play up again to just swap em' for new, can't be too expensive can they?
Hopefully sorted though, sometimes just a bit of a clean up and re-fit will do the trick.

I've found like the rear washer jet I had issues with on a small cheaper part it can be easier just to swap them out.
Just not worth the time and aggravation to mess around with.
