Depending on how soon you're going Chris is the owner of Boab.biz, he is the importer for Oztent and their King Kokoda Chairs are the best, I bought 2 for the wife and I to watch the boys play cricket, we have since put another 6 customers his way, bit bulkier than cheappos but oh so comfortable! 2019 MY Disco 5 HSE Lux

The wife and use the Oztent King Goanna chairs. We love them and are nice and warm on the back on those chilly camp fire nights when camping.

Yeah, that's where she saw 'em and I'll probably go there tomorrow to buy a couple. But knowing my luck they'll have sold out by tomorrow!

I went and had a sit in the Oztent and the Quest amongst others at Norwich Camping and for comfort it's definitely worth having a hard arm chair. I bought the Quest chair because it was more comfortable for me, sturdy enough and much cheaper than the Oztent.
Having bought it, I've had the chance of using a steel and canvas folding director's chair, and the comfort was slightly worse but it was *so* much easier to use. The Quest chair is a complete pain to pack up. |

Yeah, it was the ease of folding them up (have you noticed how most tents, sleeping bags etc. come with a "magic" bag that shrinks to half the size when you remove its contents) that convinced me to splash out the extra; taking them later to the boat for a weekend away, will let you know.
That's if I'm not sunk/drowned before Tuesday - cruising on the Broads in the "silly season" is a full-contact sport. Peter |
