Indeed. So much so that it has taken it upon itself to grow a beard, get a sleeve tattoo and drink craft beer... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Thanks BPMAN.
I'm truly in love with my Heritage, the badge on the dash says 1 of 73. I even managed to find a number plate that made reference to the 166 (tentative reference I know!!). Just over 4,000km old now, I've had it rust proofed, had the windows tinted, fitted the side steps, a clarion NZ502e head unit, BAS 170ab remap, hi-flow intercooler and silicone hoses and the Melville and Moon seat covers. Next on the list is the IBS DBS dual battery system and rear drawers (drawers are currently under manufacture). The installers for this are under strict instruction not to cut holes as I want everything I do to the Heritage to be completely removable to ensure the authenticity of the vehicle. Within my drawer/floor unit I'll have a Waeco CF50 fridge freezer permanently in the vehicle (connected using Anderson plugs), a permanently fixed compressor for re-inflating the tires after time in the desert, and an Anderson plug for Quick hook up for jump starts (giving or receiving). I'm just getting some Armaflex closed cell foam to insulate the rear load area before the drawers go in. Then in a couple of months time a Naktanenga wheel carrier and a little under body protection for off roading. Once the cooler weather arrives here I will spend a weekend stripping the interior and lining the floor, firewall (as much as possible) and doors with Armaflex. And that will be my ideal defender pretty much finished. 2015 110 Defender Heritage Utility Station Wagon 2014 B8 Audi RS4 2003 Audi A2 1.4 Tdi |

Well not today but about 2-3 weeks ago as i thought i had deleted the pics, but i had not, so i was in the market to change my steering wheel as i was getting fed up of the horn symbol under the Momo wording, but then i had a better thought and a great deal cheaper ( More to go on other stuff )

Clayton, it took me a while to figure out what was going on in your dash..then I worked it out, it's a bracket bolted on to hold your satnav/reverse camera.?.. Then I noticed you have multi gym windows!! Cool!

Devil is in the detail Clayton, looks top notch One of the reasons I did not go for a non OEM steering wheel for now but this solution I like. You seem to have too much time on your hands sir MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold |

Thank you. Yes, very pleased. Engine remap, suspension/spring replacement, speaker upgrade and full insulation and I'm done. Hopefully by the year's end. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
