If you are going further north and your daughter loves Exmoors what about this ?
http://www.exmoorponytrekking.co.uk/Trekking-in-Glendevon.html We live south of Exmoor so if you are down in Somerset at any time with your family let me know. Exmoors can be difficult to see in the wild but I know a land owner on Exmoor who may be able to help. Bob |

Well i don't know how far north you want to go but up in whisky country I know a theres a nice place to go horse trekking around the Glen tanner estate in Aberdeenshire.
North of the border in Scotland it is a public right to setup camp where every you want for the night. There's a great spot for that in a valley near breamar next to a river. As your also about at the beginning of august I think you can still look around / horse trek around the balmoral estate before the queen goes there for her summer holiday (you only really get to go in 1 room of the castle). @Bob: You should see the smile in her face!
@eeds: thx, she is recovering well, the scars in her face will be forever visible. Fear of dogs is not the biggest issue. Mainly if dog owners don't care and do not have them on the line. WANTED: SII or SIII in max 1.5k |
