The Mentalist

I also really enjoyed Penny Dreadful - but you have to like classic horror characters, otherwise you may struggle with it.

And, of course, if you haven't got around to it 24 is excellent; although started to wane in later season imho.

Justified. The characters over the seasons are excellent.

I can recommend Dexter too, one of my favourite series. Saying you loved it implies you've already watched it though. You should check out Mr. Robot, fantastic series, season two started a month ago and gives me something to look forward to at the end of the week Thumbs Up 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

I though The Mentalist started great but dropped nearing the final season and then picked back up again. Even so, overall I enjoyed it.

The problem is that SOA and GOT have set the bar so high that it is hard to recommend anything that comes close.

Many people loved Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad but I haven't watched one episode of any of them - they are on my list but free time, especially when you have children, is a rare commodity Very Happy
