We all live in a civilised society despite many bleating on about just about everything including the NHS. Hollie is very lucky to have you as a father and to be under the care of the NHS. My family and I wish Hollie and the rest of your family all the luck, good fortune and best heartfelt wishes in what is a trying and testing time for you all. Will think of you all on Friday. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Dear Gilarion, Hollie and family,
Thank you for being such a light for so many, thank you for showing us what courage means, thank you for showing us the value of love and life. Be assured that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, and when I say our, that is 6 children and their mom and dad who will keep you in their daily prayers. We wish you continued strength and look forward to receiving any further news. |

My thoughts will be with you! I dont 'do' god stuff, but I'll be sending all the best wishes I can imagine for her well-being. I can only imagine the pain you go through - had to take a step-daughter for ONE operation and held her hand whilst she went to sleep. I blubbed my eyes out for ten minutes! V8 90...WIP

"I am sorry if this post disheartens people"
On the contrary, Hollie's courage - and your own - are an example of something we should all be striving for in our daily lives. May God be with her. Peter |

Gillarion, an amazing post about an amazing daughter. It puts everything we obsess about regards our Defenders into very, very clear perspective. They are not flesh and bone, they do not have a heart and soul, whatever we sometimes believe. However Hollie clearly does, in abundance, so I shall certainly be thinking about both of you on Friday. What we can learn from Defenders, or at least their owners, is the level of communal support and spirit is second to none, so I am sure I speak for many in hoping that all the replies you receive give you the extra support that you need and in some magical joo-joo kind of way, helps Hollie through her surgery too. Bon chance, Bon courage. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Will be thinking of you all, good luck. That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not ... oh! That is a dent!
