Wasn't me but I was there' I saw you in your Series 1 but did not realise it was you until I got home tonite did not realise SAD was yours
Can't believe a 110 defender beat yours or that lovely blue series 2, mind I would have had trouble splitting yours with the 2, but I may have been biased towards the 1

The voting always seems a bit of a farce?
If you arrive and have a large family, they can all vote for themselves, which I think happened last year? Never mind, it turned out to be a good day, think I saw yours there? Is yours a 90 or 110? There were some lovely ones there... 
Would be great to see some pics, I didn't get many this year

Mine was the 90 on main drag on left hand side, actually parked next to the winning defender!
It was a great day, with a good selection of Land Rovers and great people. I will keep an eye out for you on next one  Cheers Simon

As nice as that defender was , both series vehicles should have been placed 1st and 2nd, my vote was for yours Ian and my wife voted for the blue series II .
Another great day out but left early as working tonight |

Nothing special, Pickles, a nice clean example of what appeared to be a standard 110 SW.
But nowhere near as nice as Ian's or the series 2 I will get some pics on tomorrow. The series 2 was a lovely truck, ironically they voted for my 86"
We had a great day, and the sun always seems to shine there. Bek got a good dose of sun burn on her face on the way home  80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

That had to be a fix, the 110 was no better than quite a few 90/110's there, and not a patch on the two series.
Didn't realise SAD was you Ian, would of said hi if I'd known. Mine was the green 90 with anthracite sawtooths, on the right just after the gate. Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

I was with another forum member, Stephen and family (Ellisboy) on here. He had his 88" S1
I thought the grey series 2 with the V8 and defender front end would have been a good contender? That was lovely... 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Mine is the one on the left of yours. We went on the 14:00 off road course. I agree with other comments that SAD is a fine looking Rover. The S2 is very err shiny, much better than when it would have been new. 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |
