I've just looked at the site I bought mine from, bearing-in-mind they have actually gone out of business, you can buy there 'super' 3d printer for £179... it's the same as mine, seems to work ok for my needs. It requires quite a bit of time to build, configure and calibrate, but thats part of the (frustrating) fun and gives you some good basic knowledge.
For that price, it can slip under the radar and is the cheapest i've seen by far. There are caveats as above, firm gone bust etc.. I'm almost tempted to buy another Print currently in progress... Click image to enlarge TD5 Defender 90 Discovery 3 HSE |
