It's alive, it's alllliiivveeeee...
Mwuahahahahaaaa...

After a year of the kit sitting under my desk at work, I finally got around to building my 3D printer.

First calibration cube hot off the press...not 100% perfect but close. A few adjustments and we'll be a go-go...

Congratulations for your new "Frankenstein"
I have be tempted by mi son in several ocassion to buy one but I dont have too much work to do in 3D, so better for me to rent it.

I've just looked at the site I bought mine from, bearing-in-mind they have actually gone out of business, you can buy there 'super' 3d printer for £179... it's the same as mine, seems to work ok for my needs. It requires quite a bit of time to build, configure and calibrate, but thats part of the (frustrating) fun and gives you some good basic knowledge.

For that price, it can slip under the radar and is the cheapest i've seen by far. There are caveats as above, firm gone bust etc.. I'm almost tempted to buy another Smile

Print currently in progress...
