So, spoke to the garage. It's had the loom replaced and is running fine other than he thinks it's a little low down on mid range power and still getting a touch of white smoke when in the middle of the power band. He's taking it out for a run later so I'll have an update tomorrow.

OK, line up to kick me in the backside...

Running sweet now, he's replaced the harness and cleaned out the ECU, also replaced injector number 4 as that was playing up.

The issue with the slightly poor running after he'd done all that was down to the tenners worth of unleaded I had put in.
