Nice! We just added a 3rd Defender to our 'fleet'!
My ACR built 4.6 is firmly in place, though still waiting for a few oil pipes, as well as I'm getting some custom fabrication on the headers!!

Nicely detailed V8.
As the old Holden ad used to say, "There is NOTHING like a V8",...& IMHO, there isn't.
Looking forward to seeing the exhaust. So, will you be running a single big bore 2.5"-3.0", or maybe two smaller pipes,...twin 2" pipes exiting behind the right rear wheel works well,...that's what we did on our 351V8 Bronco.

What a great read, in my option the best defender I have seen.
Where are the mats from?

Cheers for that!

The mats were from my local garden centre, but they appear to be this sort of style and come in different sizes:

I basically used a larger mat cut to shape for the floor on each side, and then one smaller one cut in half to fill the sloping bit of the footwell. Upcycling all the way Whistle

The mats are a bit of a pig to cut - beware!

Following on from my post earlier today in the location thread, I thought I'd post a few extra pictures up of my weekend evening trip with my friend in his Series 2 to the beach. Fantastic light out on the west coast, sausages and kebabs on the BBQ and some rock balancing to boot. Hope you all had good weekends too! Enjoy Smile
