I've been adding odd switches to the dashboard in mine for a number of years now, there's been a few different ideas and as shown below a few ideas can be seen
Click image to enlarge I took the cigar lighter out and put in a socket along with one of those USB sockets. There's a row of rocker switches catering for heated seats, heated mirrors, heated screen master switch(will adjust the wiring in the future and use this for something else) and the middle one operates the flashing roof lights. In th spaces for the factory fitted heated switches I got some smaller rocker switches from Maplins and inset them into the LR sockets, one turns the permanent live for the USB sockets the other (not fully fitted in the picture) controls th reversing camera. I have used the fuse board cover for the controls for the Eberspacher complete with a cheap Chinese 7 day timer as the fbh is only a D1, basic on off plus thermostat. An inside/outside thermometer is in the middle. Hidden away on the side of the cover is the isolator switch for the winch controls, I have a remote control for the winch and didn't want some kid playing with his remote control car start folding my bumper in! |

wow that really doesn't fit! There's no way you would have bent and shoved it in there!! Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I just ordered one myself looks a better solution than cutting the dash, so I'm hoping for better fitment than yours, but will post up here, when it arrives to show if it does or not. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Well my order arrived and it fits as well as the one above, in which I mean it doesn't no way near. I'll contact the shop and ask about a refund.

i thought that was an excellent idea to use the space next to the steering column. Having noted that the product doesn't fit, I decided to make something uses aluminium and have fabricated it at the weekend. Will hold two darling switches but it can fit three if carefully made. When finished I will send some pics. Wires can easily be routed as there is a hole already there created at the factory and easily reached. 2015 90 XS Santorini Black
