I was driving along (I think) the A428 near Cambridge when I passed a very extended red Defender. They flashed their lights and waved very enthusiastically. I've never had a Defender flash before!
Has anyone seen the car I'm talking about before or know anything about it? I don't think it was 6 wheeled but it was seriously long. |

I tend to do both. Quick flash a little further away to wake them up, then a wave as passing. ![]() I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Could well have been that one.
Weird that it has Wolf wheels on the back axle and the standard steels on the others. |

I'd wager that the four are what the car came with, and the wolfs are what came on the extra axle they bought!

Wouldn't explain the different tyres on the two steel wheels though

I wonder whether that Red creation is "six wheel drive" or "four wheel drive" ?
I'd guess the added rear axle is not driven . . . but it would be interesting to know ? Here's another six wheeler . . . again dont know if its six wheel drive ? ![]() Click image to enlarge |
