It claims to use "all the same upgrades and modifications" as the ones in the films but one thing I have noticed before on the originals, that I haven't seen on any of the lookalikes, is what is presumably a washer jet modification.
Notice the extra tubing attached to the wipers.

That tube contains a cord which goes inside the cabin and has a wooden toggle on the end. If the wipers stop working you can pull and release, pull and release....vital when doing high risk stints Rolling with laughter Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Doesn't have the right wheels, arches, front bumper, list goes on - absolute con!

The guy selling it is Bespoke Defenders.

Do some research on this forum, makes for interesting reading!

Very nice looking but "2.4tdci" and "ultimate defender" should not be used in the same sentence lol

eh, there's far worse than a 2.4 Puma!
In fact, I think it's probably the engine I'd choose out of any that were fitted to Defenders. TD5 would give it a run for its money but I think the Puma wins for me.

Now the mythical TD6 that never was...

Some very interesting (scary!) comments towards the end of that thread, along with some facebook links to more unhappy customers Sad
