Hi all,

Huge thanks to those who came to the meet last night, it was a throughly enjoyable evening and good to spend it with likeminded people.

I hope you all had a good time and here's to the next meet, somewhere bigger haha!

Excellent photos X4SKP, was a good night, saw your Defender, which, by the way, I thought looked really cool, held its own amongst the others, didn't see you arrive so couldn't place you.

Was a great night, friendly people never been to the Ace Cafe so was a first for me, as well as my first Land Rover meet. Cheers Simon

That Series II was easily the 'winner', and with a great story from a very nice couple,
he learned to drive in this Land Rover, aged 7, on a farm, and has owned it ever since,
it under went a full...'every last nut and bolt' rebuild I think between 2012 - 2014 and
the trip out yesterday, because the weather was good, chalked up only its second outing
following completion. It looked perfect, never been entered into any show, just done for
and with the love of its owner...excellent.

Great event and good to meet everyone and what brilliant cross section of Defenders both young and old, even our Labrador Poppy enjoyed meeting everyone
