2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Java Black
Puma 2.4 110 SW Rear Anti Roll Bar question
Just noticed the powdercoat has split and the bar is starting to rot. Looking to swap it out - what would you recommend? Orig. LR or an aftermarket uprated version?

Edit: running standard springs with Koni adjustables set to 2/3rds firmness at rear and standard springs and standard shocks up front

Have a look at Alive Tuning uprated rear anti roll bar.

I have one on my 2.2 TDCI 90 with standard springs and Fox dampers and it works well.

I've looked at the Alive one but it's quite significantly uprated. A bit concerned I may lose too much articulation off road. Not sure if it's wise to uprate or stick with factory spec.

Surely this is a massive solid bar. Just scrape off loose rust and waxoyl? Will never need replacing.

No, not really. The front one is but the rears pretty skinny by comparison. Decide to go with the Alive one.
