Petrol fuel return
Can anyone tell me where the petrol fuel return is on a 110 fuel tank? Mine is currently returning through the fuel level sender (diesel fuel level sender). On a petrol one it doesn't have the fuel pickup pipe though. 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

I seen a similar image on Land Rover workshop, the fuel level sender looks different to the petrol ones I've seen for sale.

You see it doesn't have the fuel pipe in it like a diesel one or the one pictured in the link you put up.

No worries anyway, this afternoon I just unplugged the sender and plugged it back in. It seems to be reading correctly or at least doesn't read in the red when I refilled a few days ago. 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

I have that pipe coming from my fuel tank, it's blocked off though. So that's where the fuel is meant to return through? What happens if it returns through the diesel sender, basically at the bottom of the tank? 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

That is the fuel inlet for the second fuel tank install.

I used it on mine for fuel pickup for my Webasto Thumbs Up

Not sure where the return is put for a standard setup.

Do petrols even have a fuel return? Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

I think so, ones been plumbed into my fuel level sender which connects to the carburettor fuel return so I assume so. 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon
