Rattle when slamming driver's door?
Just tonight I've got a rattle everytime I slam the drivers door. Sounds like a stone or something trapped in the door. Like a vibrating metal sound when you slam it.

Other doors don't do it, and it's never done it before.

I'll take it into dealer this week but has anyone else had the same thing before? Thanks!

Well spotted Greeni Thumbs Up

Just be careful when removing door card as the clip retainers are made of playdoh if you decide to investigate the rattle yourself. I chose to because I didn't want the door card destroying.

There was never a defender door that didn't need SLAMMED. The rattling isn't from the door but from your inner ear drum making contact with the side of your skull. It just wouldn't be right for the door to have a gentle smooth clic action . Whistle

The handles on both my doors are coming loose and you can see the securing thread poking out of the door panels.

It would be a 5 minute fix if the door cards were not there. As they are i can see it being an hour or two and broken clips and trim....

It's not that much drama - in saying that, it is easier once you know how it's all held together... Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
