[SOLD] 2006 D3 'S' Automatic TDV6 - New Low Price!
Hello folks. Just popped back in to offer for sale the D3 that lured me away from here a couple of years ago. With a D4 XS arriving imminently, it’s time to sell, so here goes:

Discovery 3 'S' Auto TDV6 with Cold climate pack

Java black with grey cloth upholstery
First registered March 2006
Next MOT due March 2017
Approx. 124k miles (in daily use so this will change gradually)

It features the following:

7 Seats
Dual climate control
Heated front & rear seats
Heated front screen
Front fog lights
Auto lights
Auto wipers
Harmon Kardon upgraded stereo
Cruise control
Rear PDC
Xenon headlights
Fixed tow bar (not including tow ball shown in pictures) with 12N/12S electrics
Full size matching spare wheel and tyre

2 owners (me and Tiger of this parish)
Full main dealer service history (Guava during my ownership), every invoice, every MOT

All belts were changed as appropriate at the 7 year service and during the 10 year service in April it also had new brake fluid and hoses, and new engine coolant.

Significant replacements in its’ time with me have included the following:

Front prop shaft (Apr 14)
Front hydra bushes and ball joints (May 14)
Steering rack and track rods (May 14)
Rear anti-roll bar bushes (May 14)
Front valve block (Jun 14)
Drier to the suspension compressor (Jul 14)
Height sensors (Dec 14)
Bonnet alarm switch (Feb 15)
Main battery (Nov 15)
Reconditioned gearbox, transfer box, new torque converter and rear prop shaft (Jan 16)
MAP and ECT sensors (Mar 16)

The oils in the diffs were changed in Aug 14, about 20k miles ago.

The previous owner had seat covers on since day 1, which I have continued. The covers are included in the sale but the seats are immaculate underneath.

Modifications include:

V8 brake upgrade to front axle
Standard roof rails (not the extended roof rails shown in the pictures)
Front light guards
Range Rover Sport ‘Narpy’ grill
EGRs blanked
Alarm sounder modified to use horn
It's got a retrofit, very neat Garmin sat nav with Bluetooth handfree.
D4 heated washer jets
T-Max split charge system (doesn't include battery)
Discovery 4 LED rear lights
General Grabber AT tyres
Rear ‘Series’ mud flaps

Private plate not included. An appropriate age-related plate will be provided.

£6500

Thanks for looking

Well, a deal has been done for a new car, which includes trading in my trusty D3. As a result, I can now offer it at a new low price for the next few days!

£6500 and drive it away Very Happy Darren

Dammit, indeed.

I hate selling cars, hence taking the easy way out with a trade in. It's a great car though, and I'd rather it went to somebody who will appreciate it. Darren
