I have never had that happen I have had to slam on the brakes a few times because of sheep in the road and I always stop in a straight line. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

'Side to side' quickly like warped disks? or was it slow and lumpy?

Nope, very wrong! Either something in the steering/suspension is worn, or there's something warped

As above, could be a number of things:-
1. Warped disks 2. Pads unevely worn 3. Pads contaminated with oil/brake fluid (check wheel bearings/swivels for leaks) 4. Worn suspension bushes 5. Worn wheel bearings 6. Track rod ends/steering drag link worn 7. Panhard rod bearing worn/loose ...to start with... cheers simon |

Thanks for all the advice. There definitely is something wrong. Because I have a 6 month warranty with the dealership I am going to be taking it back to them to sort out along with a few other things I am not happy with. I just hope they sort it out.
Many thanks again for the advice. I shall let you know what they have to say. |

If you brake hard in my TD5 110 (or the 90 we had before) one of the rear wheels usually locks up and the vehicle can skid.
However it does not go from side to side. As you suggested, take it back and get the dealer to look at it. |
