Anybody heading up to Silverstone this weekend?
First time for me - does anybody know what the parking is like? Ie. do I need to bring a concrete barrier and chain everything to it? Other than the standard fear of event car park-itus I'm really looking forward to my first F1 outing Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Like Clemmo, I have driven and parked a few years back, total nightmare and it didn't even rain!
Since then I have done a couple of Red Bull Turbo Seats, Friday, Sat and Sunday. Park at the Red Bull Factory get coach to Circuit. Thoroughly recommend it. http://www.redbullracing.com/article/turbo-seats Cheers Simon I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you 1990 110 TD5 county, my first Land Rover - gone 2012 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2014 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2015 Evoque SD4 dynamic - Wife’s - gone 2015 Urban Truck 90 XS Santorini Black Hard Top - Reluctantly gone 2020 Discovery 5 Eiger Grey 3.0 SE - gone March 24 2021 Defender S D250 Santorini Black 110 HT - gone March 24 2023 Evoque P300e SE wife’s current vehicle |

Not going to the race this year, but traffic is much better than it used to be.
We'll go up to watch the Red Arrows, who normally finish at 12.45. Challenge is then to get home in time to watch the start. Was easy in the Caterham. Might be more of a challenge in the Defender [/i] 2020 110 D200 Base - Pangea with satin paint protection 2015 90 XS Station Wagon (sold) 2010 110 XS Station Wagon (stolen) |

Ken, you are as always the Gentleman's Guide to how to compose oneself
Never stop doing what you do! Sadly, I am yet to rise to the reassuringly expensive status of Gentleman and thus must remain in the Carpark (probably in a queue) until my prospects improve! Thanks for the tip though Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Watched the Red Arrows from Whittlebury Road then it started to rain. Absolutely poured down as I drove through Silverstone village on the old A43. De used to go up to the circuit and managed to watch the start and first few laps looking over the fence. Clear blue skies there!
