Repeated log-in requirement on iPad

Stupid question of the evening...

I tend to access the various forums (forae?) on various different media - home PC, iPad and, from time to time, the work PC which runs via a Dutch server, just to add a little variety to the process!

Of late, I have found that Defender2 logs me out on the iPad - seemingly not every time, but just often enough to make it a pain in the 'arris...

Any ideas?

iPad here too, tend to get it occasionally.
It's difficult to tell if someone else clearing the history / cache or it self logs out.
eBay does similar too.

I frequently get logged out when changing between computers.
It will load the first page logged in, then when I open the first forum it logs me out and re-set the viewed thread status so it looks like I've read everything.
