Wonder if any of the vast range of surveillance cameras covering all the roads into and out of Edinburgh will have recorded your Defender being driven away. Scotland's capital is surrounded by cameras.
Then there's all the ANPR cameras monitoring cars around Edinburgh's Airport, Forth Bridge, the City Ring Road, M8 etc etc. There's a gigantic database of 'Big Data' that will have tracked the locations and times of your Defender's journey from the site - unless it was driven into the back of a truck or similar. Hope someone can get your vehicle back for you. |

Yeah I did mention that to the police but they were not that interested in that idea, so the question is how do I obtain the footage? It was spotted ar the newgridge roundabout at around 1.30

Having been burgled just over a year ago, the Police don't seem to be interested in thefts unless someone is injured at the time.
They seem to go through the motions but TBH care little about basic theft. I guess you have registered the theft on Landywatch? Maybe keep an eye on places where the scum may try and sell the whole Defender or maybe parts?? Sorry - wish I could help more. I was parked there too, and after hearing about your theft, did not relax during walking round the show Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
