Best of British vs KBX.
Both are similar price/design, does anyone have experience/views of the quality of each ? |

LEZ, I myself don't have either of them, but have seen both while visiting Urban Truck. Material finish is I would say identical, both looked very solid. KBX is a long standing product and lots of members on here have fitted it, including those that seem to care a lot about their trucks and quality of upgrades, so I assume it's a good kit. Best of British is manufactured for UT. I have just visited them recently and while waiting for my truck to be worked on, I have been un-intentionally a part of their design/manufacturing meeting as they are working on new products to be manufactured for them. The amount of discussion/attention to detail/revisions/alternative designs/quality assurance/etc was out of this world - it felt like I was sitting in an F1 garage. That gave me quite a bit of assurance that whatever they are selling under their name is likely to be of top quality. Not sure how much this helps in your decision making but there goes my two pence worth... MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

I have kbx wing vents on both of my land rovers and they are of good quality. The best of British also looks good I actually prefer the look of there front grill set to the kbx but don't have it on either of my trucks

The zunsport ones are nice too. Less obvious and less branding, Andy

Anyone know if they do a satin finish in either of these, or another brand that does?
Cheers, Lew |

So I am thinking of fitting a pair of full flow wing vent. The one on the air filter side I have no problem with. The other side is currently blocked so I am opening up the engine housing to water ingress. Worse case for me is it trickles down the wheel arch and starts to rot the bulkhead! Anybody any views or experience of this?
