Should I be worried or...?
Quote:

hi,

how many times do i have to write you ? where are my items ? please say something, don`t keep me here in the dark. I demand answers.

I will report everything to amazon and they are going to do something about it.

items bought: B00404Y3LE, B00GR0STTG and B00V1014MG.

waiting for your answer

They will wait for a long time Razz

Simple answer is we do not sell on Amazon and we do not sell baseball caps etc.

So is it a scam? If so how does it work?

This comes from email address

I've just cut and pasted the email address into Google and got this dialogue box pop up on my mac..:

You are about to log in to the site "agilitemarketing.com.au" with the username "wu3hi6so2ri4vu1fi8we0ku3po4fa5mu2pi6bo7po8pu2", but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you.

Is "agilitemarketing.com.au" the site you want to visit?

Time to delete. I wouldn't even reply telling them it get stuffed either. Wannabe Defender Owner - on the hunt.

Am not losing any sleep nor funding any unicorn farms either! Razz

Just wondering what they hope to gain. In our case not a lot, not even the proverbial 2 fingers!

I used these guys to raise funds for my Leprechaun housing project.

I am no way an IT expert, and this might be way out of date nowadays...

but I believe at one time real live emails addresses were of value to spammers etc. So they would send out any old nonsense to 1000s of random email addresses and wait for replies. They weren't interested what you reply, just the fact you replied confirmed it was a real email address they had sent to. I think just opening the email could send confirmation to their server that the email was valid - especially if it contains an image etc because that has to be fetched from a server by a link in the email.

Anything dodgy sounding I always look at the message source/properties rather than opening it. I don't know whether this does any good or not, but (hopefully) doesn't do any harm.
