Very reluctant sale of my Defender, full spec below, I am just not using it enough! Plus, it's time I did the sports car thing!
Has never let me down, I have owned it for almost 4 years and covered approx 40,000 miles. Spec: 2004 Defender 110 CSW TD5. 137,000 miles (will increase) Remapped, straight through exhaust, egr delete - sounds lovely! Orange silicone turbo hoses and engine bay details in orange. (Not to everyone's taste but an engine cover and fan shroud are easy to replace) New Ashcroft R380 Gearbox and Discovery ratio Transfer box 30,000 miles ago - makes motorway speeds a doddle and increased fuel economy. Rakeway single mass flywheel and heavy duty clutch - 15,000 miles ago. Synchro gearboxes 'slickshift' gear changer. Ashcroft heavy duty rear half shafts and drive flanges less than 4,000 miles ago. New front and rear diff imput seals and drive flanges. 4 brand new BFG all terrain tyres. New front pads and rear calipers and pads (less than 4,000 miles ago). Full service 1000 miles ago, that includes diff, gearbox and transfer box oils, and prop shaft grease locations. Injector seals and loom done as a preventative measure 4,000 miles ago. Glow plugs changed 12 months ago. Quick release exmoor evander wheel. skytag tracker fitted - can be transferred to new owner. LED interior bulbs fitted. Two fire extinguishers fitted under rear seats. Seat riser fitted to driver's seat. Mirrors fitted into sun visors. Recently waxoyled by Nene overland - the chassis is in lovely condition, my advice is to come and have a look! Gwyn Lewis crossmember mud shields fitted. Tubular side rock/tree sliders. Numerous stainless fixings inc rear crossmember, door hinge bolts, front vent flaps and all chequer plate fixings. Safari snorkel fitted with extended axle, gearbox and transfer box breathers. LED number plate light. National Luna split charge dual battery system with x2 oddessey batteries fitted. Chequer plate wing tops, bonnet, rear quarter and rock slider covers. Rear work light wired to dash, and to rear mounted switch. Waeco heated seats. Heated front screen (working) and elements fitted to wing mirrors but not wired up. Extra windscreen washers fitted. Rear crossmember, chassis and bulkhead in excellent condition. Two keys and fobs, all paperwork from my ownership and some from before I owned it. Being a CSW from 2004 she is London Low Emission Zone compliant and falls into the lower tax bracket for the TD5s. Approx £280/year - that's less than some hatchbacks! A few age related marks on exterior but nothing serious. Cleans up really well. Slight laquer peel around chequer plate on bonnet and 'Defender' lettering on bonnet. Usual age related marks, I can send photos of any particular areas of interest, including underside. 12 months MOT given once sale agreed. This Defender has been my pride and joy for the last 4 years, no expense has been spared, if something has needed replacing either upgrade or genuine parts have been used. Happy to answer any questions via PM. If you've made it this far you must be interested, give me a shout! £13,250 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Last edited by Duggie1990 on 1st Jul 2016 2:05pm.
