Great stuff! We did a solo trip across 2 years ago in our 90, was the most amazing experience!

We crossed the Simpson Desert about 8 years ago in our red 110 300 TDi.

The header photo on our website 4x4overlander.com is in the Red Centre.

Photos from that trip are on another computer.

However managed to pinch this one from yorkshire offroad club

A few more pics Brendon. Note the desert much greener now due to heavy rains up North over last couple of years, although Eyre Creek was dry.

Thanks for the comment CR yes was lucky to get the plate. Draws positive comments everywhere.
Of course from more mature people' although the series was re run in Australia in the early 90's.
