Show me your (steering) wheels
The time's come to change my wheel. It's fouling on my knees and is a pain all round. I don't want a Mota-Lita, despite the fact they're great looking wheels, I just don't think it matches the interior too well.

So, I'd like something smaller than the standard LR wheel, but not silly small, looks like a toy one kind of thing. Any pics you have would be great. Other thing I don't want is a suede wheel, I'd ruin it in about a week Laughing

Not as orange as it looks and don't know why the photo came out like that. It is an Isotta and was about 350 quid but I bought it of someone who decided they did not want it having just bought it. I paid 85 quid but had I had the money I would have bought the black one they do. Might not be an issue with you though. The quality it excellent and worth the money they ask (if you can afford it). Oh and it is a 350mm so not too small.

> Hi Tom Yes we can supply this wheel and the hub kit we have both items in
stock. There are a few different hubs that the land rover uses, can you
check the amount of splines and mm diameter of you steering shaft or if it
is a hex fit, just there are 4 different ones the land rover uses and it
saves sending one and you having to send it back if it is the wrong one.

My preferred solution (and actual) is is very hard to look for.

It s MOMO M36 (360mm dia) model steering wheel and I looked for a lot of time on ebay and now I bough a NEW one (it is a warehouse lying, this Momo was build during the early '90s).

Can I suggest this one (350mm) http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt..._854wt_907

or this one (360mm dia) http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt..._852wt_907

or this one but you must re-trim in black http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt..._577wt_907

search on www.ebay.de (write de so you can see more offers) Momo M36 or Atiwa or Personal) Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

the others, sorry, just sold both (Momo and Raid)

Pay attention to the steering wheel shaft type, same has 17mm dia and 36 spline and same has 19mm dia and 48 spline.

no way to understand the type installed, only taking off your actual Steering wheel and you need to count the spline..... Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Personally, being a lifelong lover of classic Italian sports cars, I couldn't really got for anything other than a nardi:

Finally got mine fitted today Smile

However, I get the feeling SWAMBO is not going to like it because the landy now requires a bit more muscle to steer Rolling Eyes
