Question about ZU rims
I'm changing the wheels on my 09 Puma 90XS and after trawling/ 'perving' through loads of threads on here I've kinda settled on the idea of getting black ZU rims with BFG Mud Terrain tyres. I got a quote from Craddocks yesterday (and found them very helpful on the phone too) and obviously these ZU rims are a bit dearer than some of the other wheel/ tyre combos Big Cry

Are the ZU's significantly better than, say, Wolf wheels (which I also like the look of), or indeed my standard Boost alloys? I'm not well up on the advantages of one wheel vs. another so any advice appreciated.

Also, I may swap my 90 for a 110 soon - I undertand there are no issues switching these to the 110 - is that correct?

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

It was a total of about £1440 for 5 wheels/ tyres. They gave a 10% discount on the 5th wheel/ tyre. That price includes delivery etc. Tyres are 265/75/16 (I think....def "265" and "16" anyway!)

Craddocks £129 + VAT = £154.80

Devon £166.39 inc VAT

Am going to have to check a few places out as I thought they were £109 + VAT =£130.80

Unless I have been fed some duff/old information Question Question Question

ZUs are a nasty copy of a mach 5 wheel

I too am interested in some ZU rims, without tyres though. Where is the cheapest place to get them? Group buy?

I went down the Mach5 route and they were the biggest pile of Censored I've ever bought, just ask AndrewS how far out of round and true they were Whistle
zu's are a much better made rim.
