Northern Ecuador (Ibarra)
Was going to post this pic in 'spotted' but it fits in this section too.
If anyone is visiting northern Ecuador then Finca Sommerland is a great place for overlanders. The hosts Hans and Patricia are very welcoming and will help you with any over landing issues you may have when visiting.

Very highly recommended and worth a visit. Hans will show you where to go (and where not to) and he has a tour organised and escorted by himself. It is not where the tourists go and you'll meet 'real life' Ecuador with no tourist frilly bits.

The pic is a French Defender just arrived at Sommerland. It's the first Defender we've seen in South America. One Life...Living it.
