Free style alloys, insar Dakar tyres
When I bought my defender 90 pickup it had a set of the Discovery I free style alloys with nearly new insar Dakar tyres.

I wanted original steel defender wheels on and have never put them back on, but looking for a second set of steel wheels to put a more aggressive tyre on.

Do you feel I could get a straight swap on normal defender steel wheels in good nick?

For what it's worth, I've just got back from a local Land Rover show and there was a set of steel wheels with four 1/2 worn and one new Michelin Latitude Cross tyres for £25 each and they were open to offers.

I really don't think you'll struggle to make a swap, you've just got to find someone downgrading from the narrow ones Laughing

Thanks, may put them on eBay collect and use the cash to buy a set as you have described, on the other hand someone may want the tyres and has a set of original steel wheel they want to swap with me. Smile

I think you will have no trouble selling them on here and get enough for them to purchase what you want, you will generally also find you deal with better people on here than e/bay. (only downside is you cant auction on here) DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Good point, I'll put them in the sale section for swap or cash, the tyres alone are a good deal for anyone even if they junk the wheels. Very Happy

Yes very true, so far still in the sale section, will eBay them this weekend as they are not shifting.

I even have a set of new wheel nut thrown in and no interest Neutral
