I just saw this on the news.. I'm going to Goodwood FOS Next week and expect an air display!! My 1986 90 is currently on a full rebuild, with new chassis, Paint etc.. Very much a hybrid, TD5 Chassis, tub & bulkhead with a 200TDI and LT77 GB Painted in Stornoway Grey 2 years off the road, but getting close to completion now

They did the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight last weekend. Although the Festival of Flight wasn't anything like it had been in past years (previously called The Air Fair so it might be a completely different event) with an absence of top notch military planes like the Tornado and Typhoon. It only lasted one day as well whereas in the past it'd been a two day event.
I believe they've had insurance problems in the past (getting someone to insure it) so maybe it's down to that. |

Glad its not just me.
I would expect them at farnborough too - cant see what shoreham has to do with anything. Obviously very tragic, but im not sure the current approach to shows is the best way to go. Lets hope they display at your shows. Mike |
