Retro-fitting headlight levelling to my Td5. Advice please
So having found the connector in the dash I was intrigued to see if can retro-fit the levelling function on my MY 2000 td5 110.

I looked at the area behind the lights and found the 3 point connectors for the headlight levelling motors.

I have a few questions please.

1. what parts will i need to complete this mod? Assume the motors x2, mounting rings x2, any fittings/screws etc. I also need the switch.

2. What switch can i use? Theres one listed for the 90 and 110 and are different prices. Anyone know why they are different?

3. I bought a small disco fascia with the levelling switch and the plastic insert for a mod i was planning. Will move the three switches from the small switch pod at the right knee to my console and install the levelling switch here.

Just realised that the switch has a different part number YUK000020PUY and think may have wasted my money buying the switch as may not work. Looks the same as do the others but must be different in some way.

Thanks for input as always

Mark

Hi
I have a 2000 90 .. I found the correct plug for the levelling switch behind the radio. It is a white plug with 6 spades .. 3 each side.. Your switch should have 6 male spades 3 each side.. I bought the rings and motors.. It's easy to do .. Wiring is behind headlights easy to find... Headlight adjuster plugs ..oblong and 3 pin. Very Happy .. Hope this helps.. Forgot to mention fitted mine under radio as you suggested.. My plug was tucked away in dash but easy enough to find.

thanks for reply. I have the various plugs so that is the easy bit. Can source the other bits with not too much cost.

My main question was which levelling switch can I use as they all look the same but even seem to be different between a 90 and 110.
