Hi.
I am looking for a Puma 110 USW (may consider CSW but not DCPU or HT) in grey or black although can be open minded for the right car. Ideal wish list is aircon, low mileage and pretty stock. I plan to buy in UK so that it can get undersealed and tuned before shipping to France because it saves money. Anything you have or have seen would love to hear. Budget fairly open for the right car as its forever |

Languedoc, given where you're based, have you considered Spain? Great value, have loads of basic spec Defs that you could then pop on a ferry at Santander at get spec'd to your heart's content in the UK. Importing palava will be less as it'll conform to EU standards already, and it'll be LHD to boot. Further, despite the prices they charge, being Spain it always comes with AC and normally electric Windows but it'll leave you enough in the bank to replace the rear windows with panels (speak to Bowler, they have crates of surplus items after their upgrades) and create a Utility at probably less than the UK. In almost every variant of Def I would think Spain first. The only one that seemed to be unbelievably rare and normally (Comparatively) more expensive, was the 110DC I hankered after, (as they prefer 130s), hence my buying in the UK. But for 90s, pick ups, 110SWs, etc etc, they have loads at far, far less than the UK, especially now the pound has strengthened again. Further they'll be rust free!! The dealer you should look at, if interested, are these chaps. Useless at responding to emails, so I would recommend calling. Very good tip. Clearly my brains are not functioning anymore considering Spain is less than an hour away.
Hmm. Land rover Andorra? |

Barcelona if you want to keep it close. Always a good selection. Try Autoscout, Coches.net, or as a local dealer RNN Cars. Bon chance.. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Yup, and exactly my point, AC included. Plus RNN regularly export to France so have the experience to help you get it across the border. Before I got distracted by DCs and Bowler, I was looking at an SW to turn into a USW and then have fully pimped (including full respray) by Urban in the UK. With Recaros, momos, Sawtooths, paint, leather trim, grilles, steps and other bits and bobs, it was around 10-12k sterling. Therefore, all in, you could make this white SW look like this for just £20k or 25k€. Totally unique to you as well.

It does mean I can indulge my matt grey fantasy. Always wanted to have a matt car. Never sure how to protect the paint though if you can't polish it

As long as its properly clear coated then its meant to last. I have only known matt wrap cars before but tempted to try it out.
Thankfully I have a ramp in the barn so I can just order everything from the UK and get it painted here. Might take a trip to Spain next week! Anyone want a RHD 2005 BMW X5!?! |
