I like the older style bonnets myself. I've got a Puma, but I find the bonnet bulge a bit strange looking.
If I had a tdi300 or Td5-powered Defender I'd not want a Puma bonnet on there myself, but to each their own! |

I've gotten used to the bulge now but it isn't very strong. I certainly can't stand on it when loading the roof rack. I think I'll get me some of that mammouth checquer plate. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

it does make me sick to see items like this being sold,as we all know how the present owner or seller has come about them, the car would have been too good to break,

I used to buy and sell on brand new panels from Series Landies.
Pilcher-Green used to dispose of 'take-offs' when building their ambulances. Land Rover would only supply them with complete vehicles. |

According to the seller's history, he's sold nothing but plant, cars, bikes and car/van parts, including land rover 90/110 steel wheels & bulk heads. Fishy or what...
Just checked my siver bonnet and doors - all okay If it ain't broke don't fix it! |

Bonnet currently at £251 after 23 bids with 10 hrs to go. No wonder they get nicked. |
