Awesome. Good work Mick. Must admit here in Germany they are very sneaky and hid cameras in road signs, motorway barriers, wheely bins etc. I am still waiting on a few tickets through the post

A few years ago when I drove artics, I used to go to Peterhead quite often. Now on the A90 between Aberdeen and Peterhead there is two big lay-bys ( Birness), one on each side of the road and a little further down was a derelict house where the traffic cops used to sit in there plain wrapper not to catch speeders but to watch the gatso camera on a tripod placed in behind the lay bye bins so you couldn't see it. Now me being me used to take great delight in parking my 45ft trailer right in front of the bin meaning the cameras view was obscured much to the annoyance of the traffic boys further down the road. On two occasions they knocked on my door and very rudely told me to shift down a bit, why I innocently asked only to be told about the cameras location and the fact that I was blocking it. Now I replied just as rudely that as it is a lay bye with no HGV restrictions that I would move once I had my 45 minute break After some huffing and puffing they took the camera away with them and set up elsewhere I presume. Now this was 10 years ago and I still think that if you are legally parked, there is nothing they can do to move you on as they weren't dealing with an incident just fleecing drivers by hiding the Gatso.

yup play the tossers up at every opportunity, the talivans aren't manned by coppers, at least in Worcestershire, they are civvies and can do fook all.

In Geneva they have a speed camera disguised as a cow ! - I'll get a picture next time i pass... more worrying they are installing the new smart cameras that can "do you" for upto 10 different offences
