Can you guys recommend some springs and shocks to soften up the ride a bit on my 2003 90 pick up?
Thanks.
Ian.

Few paving slabs in the back ought to do it! My 110 SW rides far better with half a dozen passengers.

Also check your tyre pressures. I'm now running 28 front and ~38 rear, vast improvement upon the previous setup which was approx 45 all round!

I believe Alive tuning do a comfort oriented spring setup as well.

I always thought my 110 rode quite firm at the back too. Until one day there was a bit of a bang, and it rode beautifully

Turns out one of the rear shocks snapped off at the bottom, so only one was attached Embarassed

I'm running 28 front 30 rear. Still harsh. I read putting front springs on the rear with different damping? Are the standard springs just too hard?

Not at all, it's a truck, designed to carry weight and tow stuff, not provide a silky smooth ride!

Hi

We offer the best solution for comfortable suspension. We developed our comfort springs over the course of 5 years doing a load of testing and development to make sure we had the perfect finished product and its safe to say there is simply nothing else like them on the market today. Check the link out below:

Let me know if there is anything else i can do to assist.

I know i have mentioned this before ! and i know in your estimation the lowering doesnt lower the ride height much Laughing ..in your opinion can we add spacers to your spring set up to maintain ride height .. i know it wont corner as well but the original ride height is what i like i just want a softer ride.............if anyone can give me advice on what spacers to use it would be most appreciated!

Try a set of front springs on the rear as you said, worked a treat on my hardtop. I don't carry a lot of weight and it doesn't crash and bang anymore over potholes.
I brought mine from island 4x4 as they are local to me, I think they were all of £30.00 for a pair, nothing to lose really.
Ride height stays about the same as well.
