2no front seat covers (black rack) complete with head rests as removed from my 2007 XS defender. Good condition. One seat has a split down the side, not all the way through, put it on the cubby box side and it will not be seen. Collection RM20 (dartford bridge)

Easier for me to remove, as I was not concerned about damaging the foam. My seats covers (2007 puma) (backs) were connected via small metal rigs, crimped to a metal rail which is set within the foam. You would need to cut these/open them up to lift the cover up. These can simply be replaced by cables ties, or reused. The pad is then stuck to the foam and easily removed without damaging the foam. You might only need to remove 1 ring each side, roll the cover up a few inches and gain enough access to do it without removing the whole cover. That’s what I would have a go at first of all. The base is simpler in some respect, cover off and carefully remove the heater pad from the foam. Although to get the new cable through the bottom of the seat, you might have to separate the foam from the metal base. Can be done, and probably the only way. Maybe a coat hanger to feed it through might work. Do you know which one has stopped working, base or back? |

Thanks for that, not sure which one is the problem as neither work.
I presume they are wired in series, when one goes they both do. If not, then my problem may lay elsewhere ? Any thoughts? |

Sold
Independently wired. I would check elsewhere first stiff. Check the cables for damage, or maybe the switch has packed up? |

Did the shape of the seat/foam alter when the Puma came out? Wondering whether these will fit my pre Puma vinyl seats or not...
