I recognise that garage. Some very nice, well looked after and well prepped land rovers there. Enjoy

Thanks All. For me less is more on a Defender. Yes I thought someone would recognise the garage, I have known them for years, decent guys and always have nice low mileage stock, a tad more expensive than some but their vehicles are always well prepared and they are real enthusiasts.

Ads90, thats how I would like mine to turn out but maybe the wheels in body colour, although yours looks great with light coloured wheels. What size and make of tyres are you running? |

Cooper A/T3s, 235/85/16 - did lots of reading before deciding on these, and very pleased with them. Very well mannered on the road, perfectly good off it for my needs. |

So, picked up my new 90 SW today, it's a 2.2; previously I had a 2.4 110 SW from new for several years so was interesting to try to compare.
Not massively different really although seems a tad more refined, much quieter and the seats feel more comfortable which may be something to do with them being cloth rather than denim twill vinyl. Other than that it is much the same I feel which is no bad thing as I loved my 2.4 and was sorry to see it go. This one is a keeper. First job is a thorough rustproofing in the next few weeks and then some very minor additions. |
