Do you already have the HU? If so you could just power it up externally and have a look see.
Monitor angle action is sometimes mentioned in manuals, but I would imagine sometimes not. You also have to bear in mind the action of it coming out is often a larger distance than what it is in position. On mine. (Kenwood) it comes out a fair way flat, opens vertical then slides back in and adjusts angle once out. They do vary, I think the Clarion is likely to take up less room actually. There should be members on here with the same model that can perhaps advise you? A 2007 - 2012 Puma should be plug and pay. Post 2012 you need an adapter but is still plug and play. Ideally speakers and HU should be changed at the same time, but not a requirement. |

Can't get my bearing quite but that looks like the TD5 dash wiring.
If that is the case you have DIN ISO wiring present by the looks of it. Plug and play with no adapter required. |

How do you get it to angle back like that? Been through the menus but can't find the angle settings. I can also get it pop open on start up but can't find where it puts itself back. Any help? 110 D250 SE HT

Its always been like that, previous owner installed/had it installed. I do have a manual somewhere tho I'll have a look and see if theres anything in there
Mine doesn't open on turning the ignition on it just plays whatever was selected previously, it does auto open when I select reverse and the rear parking camera comes on, to close it press the button on the left top of the flip up screen marked OPEN. Nothing at all about opening angles or the adjustment. It basically just says install within 30 degrees of horizontal, and that some cars may present obstuctions to the screen opening and therefore the unit isn't suitable for those cars 3 Landrovers |

if you press and hold the 'open' button, a tilt up/down thing appears and you can adjust the angle...

General setup
TFT Auto Open: There are two options, On and Off. If current setting is On, the TFT screen will slide out automatically when the system is power on. If current setting is Off, the TFT screen will always keep the last position when the system is power on. 3 Landrovers |

How much are they new?
Kenwood discontinued 1DIN in their line and pursued the 2DIN route, regardless the cost is very very high. Pioneer and Clarion seem to be continuing in this market the latter being more popular and highly rated. It's good to see the screen angle abd slide control. Is there multiple colour options for display? |

Will have a play tomorrow. I was hoping that the screen would put itself away when the ign was turned off. Otherwise it means the screen will spend it's life in the open position. I always seem to be in a rush when I get out and don't have time to close it. 110 D250 SE HT

Thanks swac3. I'm going to need mine to tilt as far forwards as possible as would like to put in the upper angled portion of the mud console if I can.How far forward does it tilt if you don't mind testing for me. Cheers |
