What options exist for these LRDs? And might want to consider something similar or perhaps a gun rack just behind front seats?

I considered a Brattonsound VS1.
A little cheaper than the other options... Phil |

I had some similar questions a few months ago which got some helpful answers:
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic41826.html I'm still searching for a solution which a) fills the load bay fully from arch to arch, b) is not produced covered in chequer plate, c) gets good quality reports and d) doesn't cost a bomb. |

I hate stuff made in chequer plate. I covered mine with a nice rubber mat, the face of the drawer is having a nice wooden veneer.
Cost a bomb? Yes, but that cost is forgotten and the quality is still there. |

At the cost these are going for I reckon you could have one fabricated to exactly meet your design specs!
I have one in my 90 which sits across the bulkhead behind the front seats. It doesn't eat up valuable space, will fit 2 shot guns or 1 scoped rifle plus ammunition and allows use of the rear as if it weren't there, in fact the kids use it as a foot rest when in the rear (front facing) seats... |

Shame, just about to sell mine tomorrow (full width, bit like a MSS box) but meets the BS standard relevant to guns. Made by Bulbox.
Fits neatly behind the seats in my 110 CSW. Would have to better his offer and he'd be willing to let it slide (doesn't need the gun features so if its a must for you then I'd be willing to open a dialog with him). Although he is collecting as well! Ed 82 Hotspur Sandringham 6x6 95 Defender 110 300Tdi |
