fault code 10.1 air conditioning fan drive open load (logged
I have problem with my defender aircon. If blue switch is 0 and I switch on white, it starts a/c blowing cold air. Nanocom says that 10.1 air conditioning fan drive open load (Logged). What it mean, where is problem. Blue switch does not work, there is allways same set and compressor starts on if blue is 0 or 1,2,3 and I turn white on 1. If I drive aircon on it blows too cold and it goes "freeze". When I switch off white and I wait for 15 minutes so air con start cold blowing if I switch on ghe white.

My english is poor and I edited little my story. I hope that you understand what I mean. How I can repair my car. defender 110 td5 2006

A/C Fan is electric fan behind the mask. It is powered from a relay and the relay is controlled by TD5 engine ECU. Your fault means the open circuit between TD5 ECU and coil od the relay. Check relay and connectors for damage/corrosion. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Thanks. How many aircon's relays are td5 defender. There is some relays under passenger seat and the yellow one says "naps" when white switch turn "one". Blue switch do anythig under passenger seat's relay, nothing "naps" if I turn on blue switch. I opened this yellow relay "box" and inside was "som new" defender 110 td5 2006

Look for RAVE - technical documentation from LR - there are schematics and placement and pictures of all connectors. And lot of other usefull technical information. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Land Rover yellow relays in many webshops are differend numbers (YWB10027, YWB10012, YWB000150). Are those allright. How I can buy correct yellow relays to my car Confused defender 110 td5 2006

No need for YELLOW relay - it is standard car relay, nothing special. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile
