It's about time to share my first Defender. I've had this for almost 5 years now. This is the first picture i took as soon as I saw her. I think it was love at first sight. It's one of very few 90s in Norway due to crazy taxes on cars. (110s can be registred as commercial vehicles.) (text edited)

Thank you! Not too many mods on this as I like the original look. Next photo is when i realised you must never use Cooper m+s tyres without stubs in Norway. Really frightning experience on top of a hill close to ski destinastion Geilo. Suddenly it the wet snow had frozen to ice and i did a 540 rotation with the car. I was sure the car would tip over. But not even a dent. Got up without help too.

Haha! yolo, I see why you might think that. But it was more the car that did it for me. Here is the first small mods. Well, not too major. Just new mudflaps, roof bars and a wheel cover!

Wanted a slightly more sporty looking 90 and bought new boosts and tyres. This was just before everyone upgraded to 18 inch. I think they look good! Sorry for the dirty car.

Land Rover mentor Ivar helped me make a bike rack. Really happy with this. And it was so quick to do too!

Managed to get hold of a Hannibal roof tent. After the Defender itself this has to be the best investment you can do! Here is a picture of junior and my brother Henrik on one of the first adventures. Its the annual meeting of norwegian land rover site members (lrforum.com) in Numedal, Norway. Great to meet people in real life. To the right is Henriks Puma 110.

Looks like a lot of weight on two roof bars though! Have they not bent?

They have never bent. I'm not very heavy though. The only problem is that they sit quite close to sides of the roof. Thinking about replacing them with some Mantec roof bars though. But I have noticed those seem to rust quite fast.

Not to major mods on this one so far. Bought new side steps which were galvanized and painted together with the ladder and nakantenga grille. Also refurbished the steelies and bought hakka studed winter tyres. This spring I got new summer tyres. 😊👍
