Anyone fitted one of these to their TD5 or puma or does it foul on centre exhaust box pics please

Looked into doing this on my Puma but can't be done according to Ashcrofts Big Cry

"NOTE, will not fit on V8's and Tdci Defenders as it fouls the exhaust, please check before ordering."

What's the purpose? Holds more oil so longer to get contaminated, and some limited heatsinking effect?

I have one on my TD5 110, no problems with exhaust. Martin
