I use NFU North Walsham Office, worth giving them a try. They have been OK with my mods.

Try Glynwood at Burntwood near Cannock 01543 675163, ask for Wayne Mann. I have my very modified Jeep Wrangler with them and I pay less than I do for the standard Defender

Wow... I just spent an hour with NFU... and they still haven't come to a quote yet...
What are standard wheel/tyre sizes for 2004 defender? There are general grabbers on this defender, 205/80 R16 - is this a mod? The alloys clearly are. Thanks |

And the first result is in... fully comp with 7 yrs NCB coming in at £475 or £392 if I take £250 excess... sure I can do better than this...
Thanks for the other suggested insurers... Stig |

OK, I've gone with Heritage, best price and also they throw in a free Sky Tag, I just have to pay the yearly subs for the tracking service.
