Air con grille mount fitting advice

I'm fitting an air con grille mount to my non air con TD5 - because I like the look - and I seem to need a lower fixing to link the air con grille and the inner wing - any air con owners with a pic of the part or any advice on the part?

Hopefully the pic shows what I'm missing!

There's also a hole in the side of the air-com grille mount that is parrellel, so it looks like there's a metal fitting to link the two....

Thx

The piece that's missing is only a bit of strap with a self tapper through the air con nose and another at the back into the wing. Just cut a couple of lengths out of some tin and the jobs a good-un Thumbs Up

Thx a lot, I'll get the tin snips out tomorrow. Is the self tapper in the side of the grille mount panel just a standard philips? 2002MY Defender 90 H/T

Yes it is on mine, a black one with a flared out head, like as if it's got its own washer moulded on like a trim fixing screw.

If anyone has got a pic of the fitting it would be massivley appreciated - I'm near a stealer tomorrow and it's always better to have a view of what you're describing to them... 2002MY Defender 90 H/T

Try MTC6332, AK612011L and AB614065L. You will also need a flat washer. 1995 300tdi Defender 90 P/UP
