Thanks Fatboy slim basically its the same car as in first picture of post which was already heavily modified and upgraded from the original HPI Baja 5b kit.
The majority of the black metal you see has now been powder coated, i bought a clear body and got a mate to do the JPS decals then sprayed it with high gloss black paint. I will not bore you with a list of hop ups and upgrades but its far from standard with probably less than a dozen original parts. Dread to think what it stands me but as you know when it comes to RC its an expensive hobby Another photo of body showing further decals shortly before car was completed. Fumotec, a one man company in Germany. Pricey, but fun. http://www.fumotec.de/englisch/ Comes as a kit and needs to be build. Wrote a build thread on it. http://www.rctruckandconstruction.com/showthread.php?t=9568 Very addictive hobby too, since then have build a 8x8 Mercedes truck and a 6x6 MAN is in the works. I'm fortunate enough to have a fleet of 20 rc defenders to play with at work and just had to use my 110 as background

I love the 360. I've seen a dozer before with metal tracks and hydraulics but not a 360. How does the scale compare to the likes of Tamiya trucks? Would look good with a tippet alongside

The excavator is in 1:14.5 scale, about the same as Tamiya. There are loads of videos on YouTube of these trucks, dozers and excavators working on miniature building sites. Just search for ScaleART, Fumotec, Premacon, Wedico, Damitz, Tamiya etc. in YouTube and be ready to waste some time. |

It doesn't move or anything but I have been building this recently. Nearly done now. Can anyone tell what it is?

BPS are these the kits that you have
http://www.modelsport.co.uk/0/rc-car-products/401211 In which case they do a 110 but having a quick read about it the body has been hand modified and the interior does not match up with longer body http://www.modelsport.co.uk/0/rc-car-products/401213 1993 Defender 110 Ex Military soft top, with a long wishlist already |

Looks like an old BMC van, but I suspect it's some Russian type instead? Pretty sure a chap in our town had one of these - in yellow. It hadn't moved for years, not sure if it's still beside his house. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
