I shall be along on Friday night in my 110. First camping trip for many years - looking forward to it immensely partly because it's in Wales, which I adore.

Just send them over the top of the Bluff in a Transit pickup in the dark then get somebody to howl like a wolf, they can relive the opening of an American Werewolf in London Whistle

Well to those that attended you know how good it was

And to those that didn't rumour has it they are planning an Autumn one

'Twas a car kin few day

No wife
No wifi connection or web
And above all no phone service

It was like the 1980's again

Some great talks , bush craft was superb

We didn't do the green lanes or off-roading but did have a watch and walk round the private site and it was bloody well run with plenty of tricky bits for the more experienced yet drivable for at least 8 different brands of 4x4

Plenty of pictures on. Facebook

apart from the usual 4x4 things
there were some great r c cars in action, David b was there doing his talks and demos, west coast off road came all they way from Southport to support the event which speaks volumes for the team running it.

we had a great guy with the biggest telescope ive ever seen outside of a film in the filed looking at the planets, i didn't know the Brecons was a dark sky area, great mythology as well.

met some great folk to boot as well
