Slid VERY sideways in our garden (5 acres of mostly quite rough land) trying to do a cunning bit of shuffling around. Then almost got stuck.

Oops.

It was actually quite fun though! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

No trouble...whilst a benefit of velcro is easy to remove a downside is easy to remove.

Cable ties are more difficult to remove...location also prevents Censored getting in through the fairlead (my winch is cover) Mike

Got a chuffing nail right through on the edge of a 1 week old BFG AT. Censored

Hoping can be repaired but it's very close to the side wall. Not too sure if that so much of an issue with this type of tyre though. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Not sure about the legality of plates on roof rack tbh. The wording says that the plate has to be on the front of the vehicle? Having said that, has anyone ever actually been stopped with a rack plate or one in the window? cant see the police giving a toss really.

I'm sure AndrewS asked a copper this question already. And got the response of it's not really the best place but very understanding it's the best place for it with a winch bumper/Abar fitted. Russell
